Hi, guys!
It's me again to ask for some unique question.
I'm planning to build a Trumpeter 1/35 BJ212 jeep in my HQ-2 trailor diorama, but found the original rubber tires of the BJ212 not very satisfied.
I do know Tarkz has a resin set but I'm afraid it's just the derect copy of the original kit parts so I just wanna avoid it.
I measured the size of BJ212 tires, and the diameter is about 20.5mm while the width is about 6mm.
I wonder if there's some nice detailed Jeep resin wheels with the close size could be used?Because BJ212 has many types of tires and also wheel hubs.
Thank you for your recommends in advance!
Cheers,
Yufei

Thank you Frenchy!
Then any recommendations for a replacement please?
Would resin wheels for OPEL Blitz be the close size to use?

IIRC, the BJ-212 is closely related to the Soviet-built UAZ-469. It's a bit far fetched, but as the UAZ-469 can be fitted with GAZ-69 wheels, maybe the soon-to-be-released Hussar GAZ-69 resin wheels would be OK for the BJ-212...
EDIT : it looks that UAZ wheels are bigger ...

Thank you very much Frenchy!
That's some very inspiring pic!
Do you have any other resin tires of some jeeps or trucks?
I wonder if they could be usable for the BJ212 because I only need rubber tire and I could make wheel hubs myself.
Thank you!
