Any special prep involved before painting PE parts?

hi Jtucker
As far as I know, nothing special except you should always give a primer coat on metal surfaces.
Paint doesn't grip well on brass or iron parts so during the time it could rip off leaving ugly scratches on the model

I primer my pe with color place, but suggest using rustoleum as it is meant to bond to metal(unlike other paints).
