well for 99%, I still need to fix the figure and flowers to the base but that is it, unless you fellows have some remarks.

Here they are (sorry had to take the pictures under fluorescent light

Hmmm, somehow they do not show, but you can find them here

http://pnavy.com/Roadkill/high

Let me know what you think so that I can make any corrections if needed (I have the camera until Sunday afternoon)

Oh, one thing that is not dine yet is putting some magnesium marks on the rock where the climber was before.

EXCELLENT DIO!!!!!!
Well done, your father in law(?) will love it. If i could make one observation though. I would put a little more chalk in the area of his chalk bag, maybe give it a light dusting with some talc or a little dry brushing. I think that being almost at the top of his climb he would have needed to use his chalk often and even if it's loose or a chalk pad there would be other spill and the occasional brush of his hand on his clothing and equipment when reaching for the bag.
Just an idea, but really well done. Its been great watching it materialise.

Ronny, I had a lot of fun following the progress of your rock climbing vignette. It turned out very nicely. Great job!

Ronny

Simply Splendid this dio. I want to see it live.
Indeed your father in law will love this dio.

About the pics not showing have the same problem at this moment

There is something wrong with the linking business I still have to tell that to Eric from MBIE

besides the magnesium marks I can`t tell anything that should change. I also like the name and the way it is applied to the base

Ronny, Ronny, Ronny...
Wonderful job. I think it came together so very well. I agree with Martin, it could use a bit more chalk.magnesium around the bag on his back. But you know - if you didn't add it, it wouldn't matter.

What was the verdict on a Name??

Actually, he dos not we have a good relationship, but he thinks that modeling is lame and for kids, he is also put of by the fact that in the past I did military (WW2) subjects.

To be honest about it, I do not really mind, I love the project and since it is only my 2e diorama I have build, I want to keep it.

Well, Scott, the decision has been made and it is ''HIGH'', if you look at the second picture then you can see the name applied to the marble.

I agree on the magnesium marks, but I will add that after fixing the figure permanently to the rock.

Ola Ronny,

I love it. It really looks good. Can't wait till next week to see it.
One tip though; place the bird's nest.

On another forum (twenot) I placed some extra pictures of a eventual birds-nest that I could place in the dio.

At this point I had decided not to place it because I felt that it would be ''to much''.

But if the response is positive then maybe I will place it after-all (I still have 7 days before the event)

The nest is made out of steelwool (tnx Soccia) and is painted black as basecolor, nothing else has been done yet

Because www.pnavy.com is working on the servers I can't do any direct linking, so I placed the following in a msn account

Placement of the nest

Next picture taken with flash so you can see the nest better

Can't have to many details is what I say. It's small unobtrusive out of the way.
Go for it.
