Hello !
This is my first topic on Armorama, please forgive my not good English ...
A 2 weeks ago, I was start work at Techmod kit : T-70 in 1:35 scale. The kit was born in 1996 y, so it's rather old school model.
To make sure that I'm gluing correct tank I used that magasines :
I'd like to my model look like this tank from Parola :
When I look at the blueprints, I was sure that I have to make a loot of change to my model look like a T-70
on the begin I build a new turret ...
next I cut avay a fenders and made new top, front and rear armor.
new fenders :
first rust :
and dry pastels :
and this is a model on this time, I hope to finish them to next week

Looks great. Nice work on the rust effects!
And you're correcting correcting the dimensional inaccuracies too? Wow!
I finished a Toga re-boxing of that Techmod kit a little over a year ago and settled for just adding and replacing crude detail parts with scratchbuilt ones. It didn't take much comparing to scale drawings to see just how wacky some of the dimensional issues were.

I am hapy that You like it .
Fortunately Techmod kit has good length and width, but how you see I had to move fixing supporting wheels, and turret was fully wrong shape, work does not be finish yet
In next model, ( t-70 M from Techmod of course ) I try to show my rust technique. It is a salt and hair spray mix.
