I was hoping someone might be able to help with the paint mixtures for a couple of figures. I have assembled and primed them both.
I intend to paint them first with acrylics and then finish with Winsor & Newton Artist Oil Colours.
The figures are produced by Philippi - Sam Stone - Mountain Man and Amos Garrett- Rocky Mountain Trapper

Hunting Pouch - Cowhide
Breeches - Leather
Half Breed Leggings - Wool blanket material
Hunting Shirt - Deer skin
Any help would be appreciated. I have read most of the posts on the forum and copied the one about painting buckskin.

Hi Al,
This question would get answered better in the Figures forum or on the Historicus Forma site.

What you might want to do is Google "mountain man rendezvous" and see what the clothing looks like. The skins used for these outfits are like khaki and range from off white to brown.
