I'm trying to get myself into figure building but it is going slow. So I decided to use some figures from 'forces of Valor' to get inspired. Here is a vignette I call 'Enemy Scouting'. The figures are 1/32 die-cast. I added the weaponry and did some touch ups to the figures.

Hi Charles. Excellent little vignette. You captured the feeling of immenent danger and action really well. Figure painting takes a lot of practice to get them perfect, but at least your figure painting is at a level now where you can happily include them in your scenes and vehicles. keep it going.

very nice job........................Is that supposed to be a towed generator or is it an ammo cart???? Where did the other wheels go? If blown off of it there would be some damage. Just curious...............................

I would assume the other wheel was salvaged after the trailer was abandoned. As to what it does, who knows? It's a nonstandard local improvisation, not a US military item. I see unidentifiable pieces of equipment being towed on the local interstate highways almost every day.

Hi Charles,
Excellent work with the figures and overall composition. If the wall took enough damage to have that much rebar exposed, shouldn't it be a bit more jagged on top and have some concrete rubble at the base?
Cheers
Dick

Thanks everyone. Dick the concrete wall is suppose to be an unfinished job by the locals. That is why it looks like that.

Gerald, I understand salvaged wheels , but one would think they would have taken all four. I'm not knocking it . It is a nice little Dio. .......................Al.

Thanks for your comments. If you look a little closer you'll notice that the other tires are damaged. That's why they left it. The mobile generator got a broken axle that's why.

I did not paint all the figures. They were already painted. I had repainted them in some areas where they were lacking and added the extra weaponery.

You could put some "bad guys" sneaking around in the empty space on the opposite side of the wall. Makes a 'two-in-one' diorama.

I was thinking of doing just that. I manage to find some so it will be added later on.

Very nice scene. Good use of space already. The generator left there is kinda odd compared to a civilian car or something on the street. But, it looks good all the same. I bet the graffiti was fun

Good point. I had thought about that but at the time I did not find a suitable model to use, so I opted for that.
