I just picked up the Trumpeter M1126 ICV and was going to geek it out with some PE and then I thought why not go completely nuts and add some resin wheels too. So wondering what the best set on the market is? Thoughts, links, let me know. I had seen the maters productions (?) that Blast was selling a while ago but I seem to have missed that boat already. Thank you in advance for any help. Cheers.

The best wheels for the Stryker on the market come from Pro Art Models in my opinion. I bought them for my mobile gun system. Michelin-letterings, detailing and so on are just great. Also the wheels numbered all the way through because of uneven weight distribution due to a tail-heavy vehicle. Not exactly correct when used for a M1132 ESV i think but for a M1126 ICV loaded with infantry or a M1128 MGS it's a product that should easily satisfy you.

All aftermarket resin Stryker/LAV III wheels are based on the excellent AFV Club vinyl kit wheels.
There are variations with some having a slight bulge and rims fittings allowing use on AFV Club or Trumpeter kits.
I have resin Stryker/LAV III wheels from: armorscale, D Toys, E.T.Model, Masters Production, Pro Art Models, Real Model, Tigerwerke and Voyager with the details on the resin tyres the same in all sets (apart from the bulging) so it's basically a case of availablilty, price and the target kit really.
Cheers

So I have the Trumpeter ICV and the MEV (1133) and am contemplating wheels for both. If you think the ProArt are the best then I'll check those out, Dirk is a great guy and I have no problem spending my money with him. Cheers.

So as much as I love Dirk and Pro Art my pocket book is telling me that I should be researching other options. What is the consensus on ET models stryker wheels? Cheers.

As mentioned the detail is basically the same as on the AFV Club kit wheels with bulging added and additional etched parts for the hub fittings, round steps on the first station and smaller fittings for the other wheels.
The set for the Trumpeter Stryker kits is #ER35-010 and has the hub attachments for the Trumpeter kit axles.
Hope this is of assistance.
Cheers

You guys are tough on a guys wallet I just pulled the trigger on the ET wheels AND the AFV Club ICV AND the update set. I guess I have also been bitten by the 'bug', oh well at least I have something to keep me busy during the football strike. Cheers for all of your help and advise, this really is a great community here.
