Hi all.

I'm going to try to kill... or make better as possible this Tamiya model.

I'll use some pe (Aber) and a metal gun from Jordi Rubio.

I hope this like all you.

If you want to improve it, you could start with the adapter plate which seems to be at the wrong angle; the posts holding it were one above the other, and that shows up in the fixing bolts on the outer face:

Hi all,

I follow this and Bill Hazards build blog with big interest and have learned a lot.
But something I cannot identify:

The Tamiya "Africa intitial" shows the front cover plate of the tracks with a diagonal pattern.

Bill Hazard has pointed out in his build blog that 250012 and 250014 has a square pattern, which is even clear to identivy in Trojcas Tiger book.
My favorite Tiger "142" seems even to have a square pattern, (as far as I can identify from the photos I have).
So is their some "logic", which Tigerīs has the diagonal pattern and which square pattern ?

Thanks in advance,
Erich.

Your work is awwwwe-some!
That said, I was unaware that Tigers fought in Africa. it seems that they would have been game changers. With that gun and that terrain. I'm looking forward to building this one myself.
