well sitting here at work bored sh£$less and started to pull the fabric off the mouse mat
and thought that this would make good sand skirts for the chally 2 as people were debating if it was rubber/canvas and it turned out to be canvas just needs cutting to shape you might need to add some white glue to the back of it to stiffen it a bit but this stuff has loads of other uses too I bet go steal your work mates mat today! :-)

Good idea Mike, although I don't think it would be 'rigid' enough for my liking. I used styrene card because it was easy to cut and bend into the desired shape (with heat), and would remain in that shape in the washing and drybrushing phase.
