Hi all

Here's my latest build, Accurate Armour's little Ferret Mk-2/3 in UN colours.
The build represents a swedish scout car in Cyprus in 1965 and was built as
a gift to a relative who have served in the blue beret.

Cheers

Tomas

Well done with the ferret. I drove one for 2 weeks as a fill in driver in Cyprus in 1988, and loved it. Just hated driving the troop officer, with his knees in my back..............

Now this is just cool The MG looks a little warped, but I could be wrong. The antennae are impressive, how did you make them if I may ask?

Thomas, thats a really nice gift for your relative.
Excellent painting and weathering - also the figure looks very good.

Which figure did you use for the commander?

cheers

Hi
and thanks for your kind words, over weathering is probably a weak point with
others than me, I've ruined more than one paintjob with my triggerhappy
airbrush finger...

Zaidi - The AA Ferret is a small and easy built kit without any real problems.
Some air bubbles on the lower chassis "tub" and wheels. Some PE-parts but
besides the sand channels no difficulties there either. The tarpaulin and one
gas can are included, the rest is aftermarket (ie wodden box, gas can,
helmets, antennae and of course the figure). It looks nice and is a little
different from the tanks I usally build. Recommended!

Jeremy - I hoped no one would notice but it doesn't look that bad in reality.
I heated it repeatedly and bent it all I dared but I just couldn't get it
straightened. The antennaes are regular steel wire masked and airbrushed.
The black and white pattern may look strange but it seems to work, I pricked
my fingers reaching over them on several occasions....

Walter - Hi, the figure comes from the Ultracast Commonwealth Tank Crew
41-43 set (35012). I'm no figure guru by far so I'm quite happy with how the
figure turned out.

Looks very nice, first one I have ever seen making a model of this UN-vehicle.
I have a Cromwell 1/76 Ferret that I have similar plans for.

Heja Sverige!
