Nice looking figure. I'd try for a stubble look on the face and a touch more red in the cheeks/lips. I look forward to seeing updates with the repainted face.

Thanks Hobbes!
im not to confident on 5 o clock , i agree it will be more suiting to an operative in afghanistan, but id be scared to ruin it.
Face is okay, the retry aint as good as it could have been, but its very good considering my faces 6 months ago!
i added more pink and red hues, but only subtly!

I have a hard time painting faces because of all of the subtle variations in skin tones. The biggest difficulty I have is blending the colors. Yours looks overall very good, what paints are you using?

Thanks E Spence, im quite proud of this one so far.
Jeremy, thanks for looking in !, the way i layered the face was with
vallejo acrylics, i started with an orangey brown base, and build up with the prebottle flesh colours and some minimal mixing, the reason the colours blended well was i used them in a rediculously watered down state as i got further towards highlights, almost as thin as a wash would be,
i guess they were mini filters, and i just built it up lighter and lighter, being careful to use less paint as i progressed.
i hope that helps! but i must admit, im still really getting to grips with this advanced figure painting stuff.!
Zon! thanks man, glad your enjoying.

Smart move James, acrylics can be a real pain in the butt to blend with their quick drying time.
