That's a nice looking DANA. I found this Libyan one but I can't see the markings clearly enough to make a decal for it. I know Russia and Slovakia use this vehicle too, but I'm still looking for pics.
Good luck on your model.

Nice pics, just one correction. The Slovak vehicles are Zuzanas, note the box above the gun cradle. They have different muzzle brakes too, because they fire 155mm ammo

Hi Igor
i'm sorry but I don't agree
I'll check my references but, s far as I know Red Army beetween the 1987 and the 1989 bought 126 Dana. They were assigned to 211th artillery brigade and they were relocated in Kazakistan. When Soviet Union collapsed Red army had 104 Vz 77. 10 among these were assigned to Georgian Army
You're welcome James, glad to helped you
cheers

James, this is a nice build. Not sure when I'll get around to doing mine. Have you encountered any problems yet?
And Mauro, I read the Soviet Union fielded 108 although it could easily be a higher number than that. Anyway the point is, they definetly fielded them some years ago.

James, were you planning to put crewmen in your DANA? Going by Maciej's pics of "Lady Gaga" and her crew, I suppose that 1/35 Russian/Soviet or Warsaw Pact crewmen would work, what do you think?

Looks like good ole XF-51 to me James. I am sure it would get lighter after a few weeks/months sitting out in the sun.
