This resin stuff looks really interesting.
I'd like one day to see how that actually works in person. Are they just raised 'embossed' style decals that fix onto the surface with the carrier film?

Below is a picture of a scratchbuilt winch with Archer "cast" letters

They do indeed apply just like decals, I would estimate the thickness at somewhere around .007" and there is enough texture for them to appear cast. They were very user-friendly to work with.

Its super thin resin on the carrier film... so you apply it like a decal before paint (or even primer)

I bought a generic sheet of casting marks to use on my 1/48 Sherman build. This will be my first time using them and I'm looking forward to it. If I can, I'll take a short video for you, if that would be of any help Jon?
