Thanks, a comprehensive walkaround. Gotta love this quirky vehicle.
A slow moving support machine gun platform, I can see how this concept would have appealed to the Infanrty and the WW1 experience and thinking, even if to us it does seem really bizzar, but it's a brillient example of the thinking that was going on at the time..

Unless you know the Matilda 1 it is a surprize as you expect it to look like a Matilda from a Tamiya model box.

It's the small size of the thing I find hard to get over. The first time I remember seeing it at Tankfest I was amazed.
