I'm wondering how much interest there would be in a simple REPAINTING campaign.
I ask because I have a schwimmwagen that I decaled but left in its tan plastic several years ago. It deserves going back and giving it a proper paint job-- in this case a 3-color desert camo.
There must certainly be others like me that have improved their skills over the years and want to give an older build a new life.
I'm proposing a short 1 or 2 month campaign-- old or new kits, built years ago or just now for the first time-- focusing on the painting aspect. I know I'm better now than I was a few years ago, but I can still learn much from others out there on Armorama. Knowing how many campaigns are out there, this could be official or not, or just a call for blogs on the subject, I guess.
Any thoughts or ideas are welcome!
thanks,
Sean.

This would include previously assembled but unpainted or primered vehicles?

Yeah, sorry "repaint" isn't the right word when it includes never-before-painted works. You got the idea though-- either a kit that you didn't like how the paint turned out and it's been bothering you ever since, or a kit that wasn't ever painted, or even an new kit-- focusing on the paint process-- but following Armorama's general "no overlaps" policy.
It doesn't look like this caught much interest, and I'm certainly fine there too. I'll paint mine eventually anyway.
cheers!

Give it a few days Sean, and I would suggest running during the summer if you can wait till then. This would probably be more ideal for most people.

Hi Sean,
I could be up for this if it's got a good start date, there are loads of campaigns I'm busy with at the moment, and I'm sure that's the same for most which is probably why it hasn't received much interest. Leave it for a couple of days to see what happens, also there's the Getter Done campaign running at the moment which runs along a similar veign. I've got quite a few I've built but never painetd and they would be ideal for your campaign idea....

Agreed, I'm not going to finish my 1/48 Hetzer in time to complete it for the campaign I have entered it in, so if I have enough time to finish it before this one starts then that will be my entry.
