I bought AFV's clear T34 with the intention of building it as destroyed with some of the interior visible when the question came up "are the clear parts just as easy to cut as the colored styrene, or are they brittle and prone to cracking or splintering under the stress of cutting it?". Anybody have any ideas?

Hi Biggles
Clear styrene is very brittle, it won't take the 'flex' that normal styrene will. so for cutting I'd recommend an "olfa P cutter" or Tamiyas' equivalent.
P Cutter
Unmodified works for me
If you can get any DYMO labels, cut to length & use as a stickable temporary straight edge.
The old style one like this Dymo Tape
A vague & distant memory suggests that Russian welds were a bit rushed & could shatter along the weld if hit.
a Quick google
T-34
suggests only the turret plate would spring.
