Does anyone have a detailed interior photo of a Mercedes L3000 truck like the one in the Italeri kit? A restored or museum one would be fine. Needs to be clear and detailed showing the instrument faces.

Frenchy??? You there???

I'm never far Bill

Here's a first picture :

from http://www.wehrmacht-technik.de/14201/14216.html

but I'm not sure the setup is accurate, as other pics like the one you can find here :
http://www.film-autos.com/fundus/fahrzeug/index.php?fz_id=161
show more dials

....not talking about this one :

EDIT : looks like my doubts were justified about the first picture (or maybe there had been some changes during production...) :

Another question.
Any idea what these are for? They are on one of the vehicles pictured on the site (from english museum?)

Looks like a Trafficator :

On a postwar Mercedes-Benz 170Da sedan :

So I guess they are spring loaded closed and opens through hydraulic pressure?

Here's some info I've found :
The European remedy for signaling turns or lane changes offered drivers semaphore indicators, mechanical arms known as "Trafficators" that swung out horizontally. These were powered by electro magnets used to raise an arm (usually mounted high on the door pillar) indicating a turn was about to be made. Once these arms were in the "on" position, power went to the lens area, lighting a small bulb. When they were "off", the trafficators folded into the door pillar. This allowed drivers to keep their hands on the wheel, a step up when it came to safety. Although Ford was not offering turn signals on U.S.-made cars, for German-built Model A's trafficators came factory-installed. Scintilla, a Swiss firm, manufactured a number of these, and they had left-side and right-side models. The driver's toggle switch used to activate the arm was mounted in the center of the dash. While Ford did not produce this component, some versions came complete with the Ford logo.
(from http://www.secondchancegarage.com/public/history-of-turn-signal.cfm )

AFAIK some earlier variants were hand-activated...

Could possibly be the big nub on the left end of the dashboard.

Was just thinking the same..The Opel Blitz (pictured below) and MB L3000 dashboards have a similar knurled knob in the same location :

....But its shape wouldn't be very practical. A toggle switch like this one :
would be OK... All the pictured dashboards appear to include one....

another thing about that photo.
It has 4 pedals, the last one has to be a driveshaft brake or something?
But on the other pictures like those you posted earlier, the hand brake levers looked like having the axle brake on them.
These trucks (3 and 4.5t mercedes and opel) all had airbrakes right?

Er...You're probably right but I'm afraid I can't help you more with these questions as my technical knowledge is rather limited (to say the least...)

Nice photo, but what I really need is one straight-on and preferably up-close that shows the dials, their fonts, etc.
