Using some older dml breadbags, attempting to "dress them up" a bit, using them as they are just doesn't look good. The "hang" isnt natural, they also appear too thick, and basically there are no straps for realistic attachment to the belt. Anyone have any tips to make these older bags look better? Making new straps is easy ...but how to attach and make look realistic is another matter.... I've sanded the thickness down quite a bit, and carved away on them, but still, something just isn't right....any help is appreciated. Painting tips, washes, dry brushing, anything to to make these bags look better.....Thanks in advance, J.C.

Hi there!

I have always cut them out (be careful no to remove the ring detail) and replace them with tin foil straps, made from yoghurt lids for example. They sit very well on the figure, and look very realistic when painted.
Hope this helps.

Cheers, mate.

Thanks Pablo....That's basically what I did. Sanded down the thickness, cut some from the top, and added straps....You're right....they look ALOT better. Thanks again....J.C.
