This kit #6391 is for an Israeli M60 correct? It did not say anything on the box.

If you mean is it correct for an M60A0, no, it's not. Plain old M60A1 with Israeli ERA.

Yes, it is an IDF only tank. Italeri removed standard M60A1 parts so you can't build it in a non-IDF mode (they removed the main parts for the standard cupola and plain gun tube). It is an M60A1 vs an M60 as Jim noted.

The original Esci/AMT/Ertl kit did include standard parts.

Thanks for the info. Is the Academy Israeli M60 any better?

Mike,
The Italeri kit is OK for a 1982-ish Magach 6B (Israeli M60A1) with the ERA. Shortly after they were upgraded to Magach 6B 'Gal'. Both the Italeri/Esci kit and the Academy kit could use some tweaks, but I prefer the Italeri one. The ERA is a little on the thin side; ideally I'd use the Academy or Legend armour tiles to replace them. My admittedly dated article goes over the basic kits here .
