SIRS!
Im planning to make an ardennes offensive diorama,
which involve
2 Tiger 1 tanks(c/w 4 figures/ academy models)
1 hummel (comes with camo parka loading crew / dragon models)
1 sdkfz 250 (tamiya)
4 boxes of walking/ standing soldiers (volksgrenadier div, HG division, german grenadiers, ambush at poteu from dragon)
and some other stuff that i think could fit the sittuation and the storyline.

the idea is to make it look like their going to the front,
and i think i need dragons comander conference in kharkov, a kubelwagen and a bmw with side car bike. mmmmm... is that enuff dont cha think.

like ...im thinking BIG now.
i would like your advice on the camo their wearing, the weather condition and maybe a little picture site that i can surf & seek info from .

or any other ideas for this dio.?

hi, it gonna be a huge dio right, well, it's nice if you let them goning to the front but through the forres so you can make a few trees and bushes. Maybe you can make some wounded figs too. You can let them walking away from the frontline. Well that are my ideas so, Good Luck!!

Your going to need a big base. If this is in 35 scale.

And your going to need to make trees, pine trees. I used sticks from the local park and something called "Caspia" for the branches.

For the snow I reccomend Faust's technique. Sprinkle baby powder on the diorama, and then mist it with hairspray.

I did a Aredennes Dio, and can say that they honestly are a lot of work. These are a couple of pictures of my Ardennes dio (It wasn't near completion, not I just have to paint the base sides and I am done!) https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/10990&page=1

Size will be your major consideration.
The Ardenne was late fall/winter and the road conditions were bad, muddy messes. No leaves on the trees, cold, snow. Looks like uniforms were diverse, straight gray, pea camo etc.
