Like most of the people on the forums I've been impressed by the scratch buildings made with balsa foam and would love to have a go myself but everywhere in the UK seems to be out of stock and has been for months. Can anyone tell me where I can get some in the UK? Google has not been very helpful!
Cheers

Hi

Have you tried

http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=balsa+foam

Don't know if they have any stock though.

That's one of the two suppliers I've found but both were out of stock.
There is a thread where the modeller uses insulation board:

But I can't find anything like it in my local Wickes - any suggestions?

I made a 1:24 structure and used the blue insulation Styrofoam to make the bricks. Worked pretty well in this scale.

Hi

You could also try pink insulation foam, I got my last lot from B&Q

You might find the yellow pages a better option than google to find your local insulation supplier.
