and is it ok to mount 2 .50 cal on the sherman top turret

Yeah, I suppose that you could. I wouldn't know how you would go about doing it though.

I have never seen a Sherman or for that matter any tank with dual Fifties mounted? I am not saying it wasn't done but if it was (As Ammo Storage would be a problem)it wasn't done much! I have however seen lots of Shermans with a .50 Cal and A .30 Cal mounted on the turret. (Cdr's Hatch and Loaders Hatch)
