Hey Folks,
I have a bronco M1114 kit as well as some nice AM goodies for it in my stash feversishly waiting to hit the workbench. My initial plan was to build it into something like this:
the problem however is that I do have a blast models warlock anti ied antennae and a legends rhino device. if possible I'd like to use both of 'em, but can't find any references of real hmmwv's equipped with both these devices.
since both are anti IED equipment i was wondering if the warlock and rhino could be used together or wether they'd exclude each other?
I also wanted to scratch the Door armor shown above and use that in combination with one of those HMMWV-windshield turret field mods but do only have one tiny black and white pic of a vehicle with that configuration from the blast instructions as reference. would any of you have photos of a vehicle with that exact layout (new doors, windshield turret and warlock system)?
Cheers, Max

thanks guys,
I'll be using those photos, plus the fact voyager came up with that set actually made me want to build these doors in the first place, as they look like an easy scratch
anyway I was referring to the usmc mushroom like warlock antenna. I can recall it was also referred to as duke in some other thread around here.
got any pics of that in combination with the other parts? preferably in three color nato camo with sand colored doors but I'd be happy with anything else at this point
Cheers, Max

Hi Max, unfortunately I don't have any pictures of one, but I have seen the Rhino and Duke combo you are asking about. Also keep in mind that after mid 2005 any HMMVW that went outside the wire had to have both.

Wow! That's the first pic I've seen of an M1 with the Duke antenna!
Is there a detail kit available for the antenna on the M2?

AFAIK, Blast Models, Black Dog and Voyager have included a Chameleon system antenna in some of their recently released LAV A2 upgrade sets. Blast and Voyager have also released it separately....

off topic, does anyone know what the bumper number on the first pic stands for? I only ask because I was asigned to 1stCAV DIV on Ft. Hood TX, and wondered if it was any of my fellow soldiers?

anyway, would anyone have pics of usmc hmmwv's with the interim frag5 and the chameleon system? as I stated above the I have one pic myself but it's really small. would be great if it at least wasn't black n white
thanks for all your constructive input!
