This is the Dragon Panther G Early with Zimmerit updated with the Voyager Anti Aircraft Armor set. It's a very nice set and it was not as difficult to put on as I thought it was going to be.

A wing nut in 1/72!

Any comments appreciated.

I meant to post this is the Braille Section

David I have edited your post to make the pictures appear, please take a look at the changes I made to help you post images in threads. I have also moved it to the Braille area of the site.

Hello David, this looks like a very intimidating Panther, you have done a good and clean job assembling the PE parts.

Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the comments. The engine detail actually comes with the kit. It is an insert that slides under the engine and cooling grills. The deatil on the engine is not great but it is better than nothing

Just when I think that I've seen it all something like this pops up. Wing-nuts in 1/72 scale??? Either you are a microsurgeon or like r2d2 trying to avoid the fellows in the white coats. Super detailing, can't wait to see it with some paint.

Regards,
AJ

I seriously thought I was looking at a 1/35 build when I first saw your photos, very nice! Is the Panther otherwise box stock?

Yes the kit was built OOTP with the exception of my adding the PE set and a few grab handles with fine wire replacing the plastic raised areas on the kit. I also added some wire hooks to hang the spare tracks on the turret. The Dragon Panther w/ Zimmerite is one of the better detailed 1/72 kits and it comes with a nice set of brass details including the engine screens, spare track racks, and lifting hooks.
