Anyone know how long (in mm) are the two (2) radio antennae wires used on a 1/35 M8 Greyhound? I plan to use Guitar Strings instead of stretched sprue. Is this any good? Your comments and assistance will be a great help. Thanks!

For the antennas I prefer to use guitar strings too. For what concerns the length it actually depends on the kind of radio equipment it was used and by which army/period. I'd say something between 2.5 and 3.5 meters...

From personal modeling experience be aware of the 'type' of antenna you model. Some are straight up, some are straight and only bent over at the base, some are wips and curve all the way over.

Thanks for the comments & tips Fabio & Scott. More from anyone will be most welcome. Does the M8 Greyhound have the whip-type radio antennas, Scott? They have this spring type base per the Tamiya mold included in the kit. Some pictures I've seen have the antennas tied to a curve towards the back. Just wonder how much guitar string length i have to add to the base.
