In my quest to be that little bit different, where on the turret of an early M4 would a search-light be located? Or is this just too far fetched? I've looked through all my references on the M4 and only saw it on the M4A3...was it only limited to this particular one?
You see, the kit came with it, and I kinda thought "would'nt it be cool if".
Any thoughs? PS: I'm not a total historical accuracy nut.

You've got to remember back then (early WWII) war was not fought at night. On the M4A3, it was mounted left of center (looking forward from the TC's position in the turret). Just to the left of the turret ventilator, about even with the circular vent, not with the outside ridge.

Thanks Rob, I was just thinking of maybe an in field retro fit. Besides it's a single hatch turret. I think I'll put it in my spares box...never know what the future holds! :-)
