Hey guys
Getting ready to apply a coat of future to my latest build, and all I have read on using Future says that I need to clean it before applying
I am using acrylics and I know water can damage the coat, even though it is dry
Does anyone have any recommendations for how to clean the model of any fingerprints and oils
Thanks

Hi!
I'm not sure of your question, but... if you are thinking about applying a of Future over acryls for, say, a glossy decal surface or a sealant for washing... I think you are definitely safe to GO for it. I AM presuming that your acryl coat(s) are pretty fresh and that you don't have huge dust-bunnies, cat-hair, etc. hanging out all over the thing Hey, jist funnin'! (not that I haven't had a gigantic cable left embedded in paint from time to time...)
A newly-painted build is a chemically-clean (little or no finger-grease, for instance) build. It shouldn't need any sort of cleaning in order to be further painted, either with Future, other acryls, enamels, etc.
Cheers!

Hello Cody!
I just applied a coat of Future to my WIP Guardian not more than 15 minutes ago.
What I do is that after I paint my model, I have a couple of platic boxes with perforations in which I place the models after painting to let it dry "protected", trying to eliminate the posibility of dust/fibers on it.
After drying, I use a soft brush to clean up, blast it with air with my airbrush, and then proceed to spray the kit with whatever, in this case Future.
What i do is basically 1/3 water (distilled), 2/3 Future mix ratio.
Then, clean throughly the airbrush.
Hopr this helps!
