Hi guys
Tell me what you think about this, it's for the under the sun compaign
The dio rappresent somewhere in the desert near El Alamein but it isn't finished
The troops are Italian Bersaglieri, Folgore paretroops and a 75/18, al the figures are dragon with a lot of strachbuilt, the tank is zvezda, nice
Part of sands is the real sands of El Alamein (a present of my girlfriend)
If you have critics or suggest..please..tell me

So?
Sorry Vlady I'm a rookie on the compaign and I don't know all the rules, I started when you put for the first time a post about under the sun compaign.
I have to abandon the compaign?
regards

Hi Venom: I really like the figures. The flesh color and especially the stubble/beard looks dead on. The groundwork looks very lifelike as well. The mixture of large boulders, smaller rocks and sand is a nice touch. Excellent job!

venom, the rules said that the start date is the 15th of september and if there was something unclear to u you could ask. u don't have to abondon, but u will have to build something else for it. sorry but it shouldn't be hard for u because u have done a wonderfull job with this one and the others that u have posted.

Ok vlady , I 'll do another for the compaign.
Bison I know the beard isn't too nice, but it's more realistic, don't you think? But I have to see if with the beard the model is less nice. Personally i like with bear. But....do you think It's less nice for your? I have to decide and I'm not sure if I have to keep or remove
other comments and suggest?

Howdy Venom: I think we have a language mixup, I meant to say that I thought the beard was good, very convincing, sorry about using North american slang. The beards makes them look tired, dirty and like war weary veterans, which adds to the diorama in a positive way. Could you fill us in on how you did the groundwork? Good job and good luck on the next desert dio!

Nice idea. It's good to see some other WWII Italian dioramas out there. You did a good job on the conversions. Though they are, of course, not entirely accurate, they do look like Italians. How did you create the Bersaglieri plumes?
The diorama is nicely done. Good use of space with the Semovente, the figures, and the rocks. The actual sand from El Alamein is a neat touch too

Thank guys
Bison sorry for the language mixup, I don't know nothing about slang. The plumes was did with a bicomponent plastic cement ,is called the green Stuff by Citadel modelling .You can use it for les of 40 minutes, after you have to wait some hours and it will be like plastic.
Regards

Great Job Venom! I really like the way you converted the German fiqures to Italians and your ground work is outstanding. If I may I have one small constuctive sugestion. You need to make the tank look like its heavy and sinking into the sand. Right now it seems to be floating over the ground. I usually do this by making tread impressions in the ground work while its still wet and then sprinkling sand over the track later. Just a suggestion
