Has anyone else seen or purchased the new (to me at least) figure by Wee Friends of a 1/35 scale Paratrooper in the Falklands in an assault pose with a Sterling SMG? I purchased one and it looks better than the earlier figure they put out of a paratrooper on a "tab"; construction/parts breakdown is similar to Kirin's Royal Marine figures, pose is similar to earlier figure by Imperial. It looks like the work of Peter Morton, but I am not sure who sculpted. Any thoughts, impressions?

Hi Doug.

You are correct the figure was sculpted by Pete Morton, I bought the masters along with most of the rest of the old Comrades In Arms Figures. we also bought some figures from Cromwell models which again are Pete Morton sculpts. i know of the two Falklands RM figure you mention and suspect they where also done by Pete, Unforunately i do not have this set. i beleive Imperial Gallery was originally taken over by Comrades In Arms. but an not 100% sure.

i have also aquired other Pete Morton scuplts from different ranges and we are currently reworking these before releasing them. Pete is an excellent sculptor, and captures the spirit of the British soldier very well.
cheers
