As a former member of the British Army, I am trying to locate a 1:25 scale model of an FV 432 APC, to model to the exact specification of the vehicle I served on during the Gulf War of 1990/91. If any one out there can help please send an email and put me in the right direction.

Thank you very much,
MeHere.

If nobody can find that scale, something close to it will do, thanks.

Welcome abaord!

I've never heard of the FV432 in 1/25th scale. I believe that your best bet would be Accurate Armor's 1/35th scale resin offerings.

I don't have their URL off-hand but, it is quite easy to find via google or similiar search engine.

Panda models from China has announced injection molded FV series, but when -or if- we actually asee them in 1/35th is unknown. They have a pretty ambitious release list.

Other than that you're stuck with the AA resin kit. A bit pricey, but very nice.

Unless you wanted to drop down to 1/285th scale. :-)

There is a new book in the works titled: "The FV430 Series", and is due out sometime around the beginning of the year. It is at the editor's now for the first pass, and is being authored by British Author and Historian Rob Griffin with a side-bar by yours truly.

Th FV series vehicles due from Panda are the CVR(T) family i.e. FV 103 Striker & FV120 Spartan MCT and are variations on the Scimitar/Scorpion chassis not the FV 432 family.

I would dearly love an injection moulded FV432 series but doubt we will ever see it.

Hope this clarifies, happy modelling
