Hello everyone,

I recently obtained a set of Friulmodel tracks for my Academy Merk 4 kit. While the actual assembly of the tracks has gone smoothly so far, I fear I may have run into a potential problem. Basically, my assembled length of track will only “wrap” about 1/3rd of the way around the sprockets that Friulmodel has supplied. Is that correct?!?! Other sets of Friulmodel tracks I have built in the past basically can be wrapped all the way around the sprocket with the guide teeth still fitting neatly in each track pad.

Thanks in advance for any insight or advice you can give me. I hope my question / concern makes sense…

Thanks,

Noah

They are tight, you pretty much have to press them down really hard to 'convince' the guide teeth to fit in the holes in the tracks. You might have to file the teeth down a bit so they'll fit better. I built 2 sets for my builds which will be in the new issue of MMIR.

I purchased set of Fruil tracks for Merkava 4 and found that the Academy sprocket fitted the Fruil tracks without any problem.
