Found a site with complete intstruction for building a ruined house and base from scratch. Thought some of you might be interested. Great for beginners and worth a read for the not so new modellers. Some good ideas and may offer inspiration.

Very good article... i like the discussion on the use of chalks. to show burned wood... good technique!.
For those new enlisteds, we have a similar article with a slightly different slant here on Armorama in the Hall of Fame (#2) called "Building a Diorama from Scratch"...
