On PMMS -website I found an interesting news.
Cromwell Models made a SA-6 Gainful replacement set for the Trumpeter kit ones.
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/newkitnews/cromwell.html
In my opinion these look better than Trumpeter´s ones, which are too thin.
As I read somewhere, Trumpeter used "dummys" instead original ones for the kit.
What do you think about the replacement set?
Also I have to say, Cromwell Models made a conversion-set for Dragon´s ZSU-23-4 some years ago. Included in this kit also were 3 missiles.
(but I sold mine)
greetings...

As regards the missile diameter and length are good, the bad elements shaped aerodynamic front and thick.
Air pipe to the engine running only visible when the cover is torn at the start.
Radom part of the nose is too round.
The missile in the missile 3M9M3 meet.
I do not want to advertise myself, but the market will be 1-2 months and the lake model offers two versions.
I ask for your patience!
Regards, Juhász Gábor.

I have the Cromwell conversion as well as the Trumpeter kit and can say that the conversion looks better. But I'm not much of a rivit counter so couldn't say with all honesty which one is more accurate. The missiles in th conversion do look more authentic though.

Would I know anything about these future conversions?

From looking at pics am I correct in thinking set will include a new travel lock arm as the kit one is very inaccurate?

The original set of "transport fixing" the wrong element size rocket made, of course, it also had to be modified, will be included in the kit.
1 kit includes: 3 complete rocket (3M9ME type or M3), 2 boxes of spare parts, "Improving transport fixing"and "shear-cutting" device components.
And optional decal set: a rocket to the inscriptions stripes.

Since I'm interested I just dare to ask: how much will one set be?
