Hello all, I thought we should make a new thread where anyone who sees a new item either model or accessory could post it here. Braille scale market is rather small so any new item is welcome from any Brailler.

Furthermore this thread could become sticky if the moderators agree and if you guys think it would be useful.

Please post your opinions.

Hi Alexander,

Where do you get that ammo from, I have been looking for that sort of thing for a diorama I want to do. Well spotted.

All the best,

Paul

I volunteered to be a news editor for Armorama in general but with a specific and personal interest in Braille scale coverage. The problem with a sticky is that eventually it would become very big and very dated. I would be more than happy to report in the news section any Braille scale items of interest. I've been trying to go through and see what's new or report on any Braille scale manufacturers who might be new or relatively unknown in general. The last month (my first month as a volunteer) is one of my busiest for personal reasons, but will be slowing down in the next week. After that I'll attempt to put out Braille scale announcements on a routine basis.

would it be possible to have "New Braille Items" as a Sticky for each calendar year ?

that way it wouldn't get too large (there ain't that many new Braille releases each year, compared to 1/35th armour, or 1/72nd aircraft)

this one could be for 2011, and would be a good reference to check whats been released for those that don't, are are not able to access the site daily, or regularly.

at the end of the year this one is locked, and a new one is started for 2012, that would be locked at the end of 2012.

just a suggestion that I think would be practical & useful, over to you

cheers
Neil

Sorry but i don't agree with the "rather small" part. It might be smaller than 1/35 but it's growing

And to prove it there is the execellent site "On the Way"

http://www.onthewaymodels.com/

where you can find most (if not all) models available.

Braille is THE original armor scale if I understand correctly? As far as I know it's been around since the beginning, and really popular in many European countries.

btw love that site Cunha, been my one-stop site for info on braille armor kits

Alexander: That Krupp add on armor looks like a great way to introduce ones self to small scale PE.

James: I have really been looking forward to that dozer since I first heard about it. I'm hoping that it will come with clear window glazing

It would be great if anyone posting here would include both an image and a link. That way we don't have to click every link just to look at the stuff, and it would be great to be able to have something to click when we see an awesome picture, just a thought

Jeremy,

I understand what you mean, although when I can, I try to avoid directing someone to an eshop so I'll just try to post images that give all the data (brand, kit name or code) for someone to make their own research.

There is a version with clear glazing. Pricing is €59.90 for the solid resin cab and €64.90 for the clear blue cab. With the exchange rate of the USD to €, I might have to be more patient than I hoped.

I just found out the pricing, but you guys didn't see the news updates did you?
