Hi all,
I would build a Chally II so I've seen various items on the market.
My questions are these about the Chally II
1)Which is the best Chally on the market with a good level of accurancy?!
2)Which Pe or aftermarket are a must to depict this model?!
3)Can you do a little list about the corrections that I need to do one of this?!(of
course, after the election of the best kit for you)
4)Is it a good thing to get the osprey modelling book about the chally or is it too old?!I say
this cause if I get,for example, the Trumpy Chally II maybe I haven't the same
base as a starting point
Can you give me some links to previous discussion about the same topic or a link to a tweaks list.
Regards to all

Im not sure about the accuracy, but the Tamiya Chally 2 desertised is an excellent kit that goes together very well with no need for any filler. The details on it are very crisp and its reasonably priced.
The only real aftermarket parts you may want to consider are the LionMarc barrel which has excellent detail allround. Another possible improvement is PE engine grills, either from Tamiya themselves or Voyager.
The biggest correction needed to improve the Tamiya kit is the anti-slip coating applied to the turret and hull. Its applied to the majority of the flat surfaces but you'll need some good references to find out what to mask etc.
If you can get it, I'd recommend the Rustoleum textured terracotta spray to replicate the coating.
Here are a couple of reviews of the kit:

Heres a link to one of the best Chally 2 builds out there. It has plenty of details, corrections and tweaks which should prove useful to you.
Im not really sure about the Osprey book as Ive not read it.
Hope this helped

Edit:
Heres the spray I was talking about, but I don't know who sells it in Italy:

It hasn't to be the Rustoleum spray. Other terracotta sprays will (or at least should) work fine.
To your second question: Voyager released a new PE set which looks great.

As long as you avoid Trumpeter 0308 you won't go far wrong no matter what kit you buy.
I like the Trumpeter kits personally, but the Tamiya Op Telic is very good and easier to build, too.
There's a lot out there for aftermarket, it wouldn't be a small list
