Hi all,
It has only taken me 3 weeks to get to this stage, which for me is amazing.
The rear basket with ball and chain had a fight with my chair wheel and lost. Thankfully I found a photo of one , minus its basket.
Life colour Israeli Sand 1982 slightly darkened is the base colour.I used Tamiya Deck Tan and Buff diluted with water for the dust.
I still have the wheels, front and rear hull and some more here and there on the turret and hull to do.
Hobby Boss Merk 4. Moved the suspension which was only a 5 minute job and some filler.
Fruil tracks.
Legend all steel wheels.
HardCorp figurs.
Thank you for looking,
Paul.

What a great looking beast! Base color is best I've seen in a long while and the dust is very realistic, true weathering!
Thanks for sharing! Hope my Acadamy version comes out half this good.
Cheers!

Great build and truly impressive weathering. Did you spray the dust on or was it done with a brush?

That paint job is really something Paul. I would love to hear the process to achieve that kind of finish. Cheers.

Thank you for all the great comments,
I just use Tamiya Deck Tan and water. I use different size brushes, wide ones for all over and thinner ones for the streaks. The first coat it very diluted and I just keep adding more coats. Where I want it thicker I add more paint to the mix. When you add the first couple of coats it also acts like a wash and collects round the bolts and crevices. I also used Buff as well in a few areas.
I have just about finished it and will add a few final more photo's tomorrow.
Paul.
