This is awesome. How'd you do the non-slip?

thank you guys,
Chris, yeah, as I said above the hairspray dust got a little too subtle so, instead of applying another one or two coats of HS I chose to continue with pigments.

Gendrok, the anti slip coat was done using Mr. Surfacer 1200.
I used a flat brush to first off 'tap' it onto the surfaces that'd still be covered with the 'original' non slip pattern to make 'em look a little rougher than the up-armored, robot-painted parts. then I gave all the surfaces a good coat via airbrush...

Cheers, Max

update: I'm almost done with this one (though I almost messed it up ), still needs a little more dust, stowage and some last bits like antennas, glass for the shields etc, well, here's where I'm at right now:

thanks guys!
TJ, glad you like it because, as stated above I almost fracked it, that damn hairspray just wouldn't get flat at all, though I applied several coats of flat clear it didn't help a bit. so I needed to repaint that whole thing trying not to overspray the markings and details already painted... so, it propably won't be that hard to top

Cheers, Max
