hi everyone. Im just wondering if any of you guys have been successful in painting military figures using Mr. Color(Lacquer-based paint). Im on a tight budget and all i have in my workbench are these line of paints.
Your comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I normally wouldn't use them for hand brushing, but I have used them to hand brush details before and they work just fine for basecoating. You will need to make sure to use the same brand of thinner for them though, otherwise they will leave brush strokes and can easily make a mess of your brushes.

Possibly if you use Mr Color Leveling Thinner - which contains some retarder - it could work. Otherwise Mr Color paints are not exactly suited for brush painting as they harden very quickly.
