A bit of a dumb one but... how do people attach figures to their vehicles? I'm talking fixing a crew member to the superstructure of a tank. Thinking of on top of turret or next to turret. Is it simply a case of (carefully) gluing or is their another secret? What glue to use? Drill a hole? ANY help is appreciated! Thanks

Hi
A small drop of white PVA glue is all you need.

Thanks! All the photos I've seen seem to show a seamless join between feet and surface!! I'll give it a try.

I would suggest pinning the figure to the tank. Drill one hole up one ankle and one hole in tank epoxy a metal pin (piece of paper clip). This will be quite strong and durable in case you are transporting your finished item to a contest or display venue.

Hi Paul,
Super glue,(cynoconalate),excuse my spelling ,liquid glue ,like tamiya, revell liquid glue. And, white glue(pva wood glue ).
If its a resin figure I use super glue and white glue mixed together.
This gives a strong bond between the 2 glues.
Obviously once the 2 glues are mixed you have a very short time to sit the figure onto the tank.
The main visual aspect is the figure sits flush on the vehicle and there is no gaps.
Cheers
Michael
