Have you already been registered?
Me too I've tried to register me to the site. I wanted to obtain some infos about the canadian Quad gun tractor. They granted me a limited axcess for a while (I couldn't see the larger pictures) but soon after they rejected me.
During the first registration they ask me why I was interested to site inscription and they warned me that they had to decide if I deserved to be a site member...
It would be easier joining to the Rotary club fundation...

Legally, they can not track your internet browsing. That is, unless you sign a waiver allowing them to do so. That's a huge 'red flag' in the US. Violation of personal liberties and rights granted by The Constitution of the United States.

I don't know Charles. I'm not Canadian but I didn't do anything bad. Your country contributed to the liberation of my country and that's the reason why I'll be always grateful to Americans, Canadians, English, Australians and Italian partisans.(...tomorrow is the Italian Liberation Day)
Those were the site rules and I accepted them although I think they are too strict
cheers

I'm a member of MLU, and although I haven't been in personal contact with the site's owner for some time I know that they had a bit of agro due to his (& the majority of the memberships) support for troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. If you add to that a major hack and all the adverts for porn and illegal medications they are very wary.
If you have a genuine reason for membership a message to the site owner should sort it out.

Hi Guys,
i tried to register twice several years ago but gave up. MLU is aimed at Military Vehicle Restorers and although I know people who are registered who don't own vehicles that may be part of the reason they are picky about who can join.
You can still brouse the site and it has some very useful data for modellers.
If you looking for a site you could try the Historical Military Vehicle Forum located here:

Lots of useful infomration, very friendly and no joining issues.

Just been over there to see if they'd changed the rules. They're in a bit of a reorganisation at the moment as Capt. (retd) Geoff Winnington-Ball, the sites owner and founder, passed away in December 2010.
Most of the info (as Allan said) is available without registration. Either that or give the new Mods and admin a week or so and try again?
