Hello,
I plan to build a M1127 Stryker RV with an AFV Club M1134 an the RealModel Conversion. I want to add an interiour from DToys. Now I need reference Pics from the interiour.
Also I'm looking for pictures from this afv in afghanistan. (with SLAT and without SLAT when possible)
Are there some other photos from the Belly Armor available. I know the pictures from the back of the vehicle showing the thickness and the mounting on the back.
Best reggards,
Andreas

Hallo Andreas,
interior pics of Strykers are very hard to get, the Army is very sensitive with that.
I been on various Strykers myself but weren`t allowed to take pics. The only pictures of the M1127 RV are in WWP books on Stryker family. As for belly armor, I have the Armorama pics downloaded.
Drop me an e-mail at [email protected]

This picture should fit your need better, as those I was talking about in my previous post don't seem to show M1127s
This one is fitted with a SPARK mine roller :
You can also download a nice Hi-Res picture from Defenseimagery.mil here :

Hello Frenchy,
thanks for the infos. Are in AFG RV Strykers without SLAT? All the photos showing the RV with SLAT. The other photos are only M1126. I like the variant without SLAT... much less work.

Hello,
finally I start the build.
Here a picture of all the AM Stuff I will use. There are missing some Voyager Items: .50 cal and Antenna Mounts.
First I add the Anti-slip Surface to the top of the Vehicle. The back roof has the anti slip surface castet in the resin.
I add the DEK to the lower hull:
The roof from the Real Model kit:
Here are some photos from dry fitting the Interior parts from DToys.
Unfortunatly I only have one Interiour Picture. Also Real Model hadn't released the Belly Armor till now. I have some very good pictures from it, but only from the front and back position. I don't have any picture who shows it from the side.
I hope I will get some more pictures from the interior an the belly armor soon as promised.
Sorry for my bad english.

Hello friends,
I resume the built of the stryker. The MPK is on the way to me, and some little parts like M2, Duke antenna and antenna mounts from voyager I got today.
I added some parts to the interior. I still only have one picture and so it's hard to find the right places for the parts. Here are some pictures:
I know that there is a mounting for the LRAS in the interior on the right side of the stryker, but I don't have pictures of it. Do anyone has some additional pictures for me? I want so add more details like cables but I need reference.

Andreas, actually the LRAS goes on the left side. The tube with the buttstock of the weapon placed in it in this photo is the mount for the LRAS.

Love it. It looks really complex. I have the same Dtoys interior set. How are you satisfied with the details?

Very nice build, did you have to work on the figures to make them fit so good?
Good colors to, spot on.
Cheers Rick

@Mario
I have used both kits and I think the BlackDog Set is the better choice. The details are much better and the floor has a anti-slip-coating.
In the Dtoys set there are some parts missing, for example the joystick for the RWS, and the casting of the parts is not so good.
@ Rick
The figures fit very well. I use:
the Stryker Driver from Legend
the EOD from Legend (kneeing figure)
the Legend AFV Driver + Laptop and arms from Legend Humvee Crew #2
the Legend AFV Crew #1 and #2
For the LRAS I would suggest the BlastModels Set. It is much cheaper to get as a Conversion set from RealModel only for the LRAS. BlastModel casts are very good. The M4 I use are from Blast, also I will use a Stryker Stowage Set from Blast.
