Hey Captain.
I believe this is the Marine Personnel Carrier (MPC) Technology Demonstrator built at the Nevada Automotive Test Center.
Here's a couple of links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Personnel_Carrier
http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/peolandsystems/mpc.aspx
Based on the two vehicles they are looking at I would say it won't end up looking like the demonstrator but I hope it does as its mean looking!
Cheers,

Hay guys thanks for the help and the info. The "Large Mobile Target", I like that one... Weather they build it or not I like the looks of the concept, so I'm going to try and build it.
Thanks guys for the help and links.

Those 2 little fans will never get this turkey in the air.....
Judging from the exit door at the rear this seems about twice person height....
so are they going to Maxi-size the Amphib carriers & C-17's? as well

How many Jawas can fit inside of it? I believe the fans might be there to keep the infantry walking behind it cool.
