I am in need of crew figures for the Sdkfz 222's either Tamiya or Hobbyboss versions.Trying for crews that will fit inside the turret ,setting in the seats.Have been looking for both Afrika and winter figures.Realise that space was cramped and am willing to remove the seats in order to fit figures in-since seats would no longer be visible anyway.Any ideas, opinions, thoughts or wild speculations welcome.

Why not try one of the Tristar or Dragon 2cm gun crews? Seated figure included and maybe one other figure will be suitable as is, or a with a slight conversion, should do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion.I haven't even considered flak crews before.Just trying to squeeze something into that cramped space is going to be tough.Probably have to use just the upper torsos, not much would be visible anyway.

As with any open-topped AFV fitting a crew in the cramped space is always a problem. A lot of mixing and matching of body parts (and possibly re-sculpting) is usually neccessary. It would certainly be helpful if someone made a figure set that was actually dedicated to a particular vehicle - perhaps with optional arms and heads. Although Dragon released a half-track crew set many years ago and no way would the driver sit in his position .

I think Biggles2 is onto something here.
One of my buddies sent over an old Tamiya SS tank crew member for my son to use as a driver for his Dragon Tiger 1 build. He installed a Verlinden interior kit, so we thought it would fit nice....not even close. Mason (my son) had to re-sculpt the width of the waist and chest...and trim the butt down. Once done, it worked perfect as the driver.
