Hi again Mauro,
the links are very usefull, thanks for that mate! I have built an M1070 HET in 1/72 and got the M1000 trailer 2 weeks ago. The kit is from Balaton Modell from hungary. My plan is to place an iraqi MilMi 24 on the trailer. I played with the idea to strip the wings off because it may would be too wide with the wings on, when the vehicle is on the road. At least I think that it would be logical to strip the wings off while transporting this machine. The trailer is built up and needs some paint. And the MilMi is on my workbench too. Itīs the new kit from Zvezda and a real joy to build. One of the nicest BrailleScale kits I have ever seen. All the engine, interior etc is included!
You can see my M1070 here:

Great pics, guys... very inspirational!
With Andreas' permission.. I just wanted to ask about the camouflage those soldiers are wearing in the last few pics posted by Mauro.. isn't that the old pattern worn during Desert storm? The reason I ask is because I see a new version Humvee in one of the pics.
Thanks for sharing
Hisham

Hi Hisham. I think the pics were taken after the second Iraqi war...but to be honest I can't remember where I found them exactly
I'm sorry.
Anyway I can try to repeat the internet research

According to the caption, these guys are Kazakhstani soldiers deployed in Iraq in 2008.
In this other picture :
you can recognize US General Norman Schwartzkopf (also known as "Stormin' Norman" and "The Bear") - on the left- during Operation Desert Storm.

Thanks for clearing things up, Frenchy... my bad for not reading the caption at the end of Mauro's post.
I was looking at the third pic from the bottom - the one where you can see a Humvee on the top of the hill - and thought those were US soldiers
Thanks again for the great pics
Hisham
