Did they wear the black tanker uniforms, or which kind? Thanks. (I'm doing the Vision BA-64 kit which provides no figures.)

They could be dressed:
1) with usual infantry uniform - as with summer uniform:
and with winter uniform:
and even with masking wears:
2) with combination of infantry uniform with tank helmet:
3) with tank uniform itself:
You need use the real photo of AC, that You have chosen, for reference about particular uniform.

Thanks tremedously.
I'm building the BA-64 for a Korean War scenario, and wondered if it were possible to install a North Korean crew. Unfortunately no North Korean soldiers are available that I know of, and the best I could do is put Hornet Asian heads on Soviet tanker figures. If that were authentic that would be great.

I think, North Koreans could be dress in more different variations of uniform, based on Soviet uniforms, because in those years NK army was in formation stage, and they had not so much resources and possibilities.
I think even, they could use some captured Japanese uniform things - why no ? And even some civilian items...

Oh, I have that book already, which gives a lot of information. But that's how I knew about the infantry and tanker uniform standards, and from the context I got the idea that the North Korean military, at least when the war began, was very well equipped and developed compared to everyone else in the region.
