After placing all the groundwork into the base I then used the light green slime and gave the "pools" a good layer of the green slime. before pouring some clear resin that will be used to replicate the water.
Once dry I then used the same green slime on the areas close to the water and also the tree stumps near the water. Next came what was to be the fun part- replicating the green algae that can be seen floating on the tide pools. For this I used the same slime and mixed it with plaster to a thick mixture. This was then stippled onto the areas seen in the pics.
It's hard to see the texture of the algae due to the light and reflection, but it's there.
I will be experimenting more with the AK Interactive in the future and will post what I've come up with.
Cheers

Rob,
I like how the addition of plaster changes the level of gloss of the Slimy Grime on the tire. Contrasts great with the reflective surface of the standing water.
This thing is sick......... and captures the setting perfect!

This is truly beautiful Rob, and exactly what I had envisioned when you first teased us with the halftrack. Very inspiring, both the build and the succesful use of the AK slimes. I will certainly remember the plaster trick

Thank you all for the kind words and I am thrilled you all like how it's turned out. It was fun to experiment with these new products, something I love doing. AK has definitely come out with some very good, and needed, products as of late.
Cheers
