Regular white spirit should work fine.

Thinner for Washes is an enamel based product so either white spirits or turpentine will work. Just make sure that if you are using enamel paints as your base color that you add a layer of protection such as a light misting of satin or future. If you are using over acrylics you are good to go.
Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions.
Best,
Rick

Don't use turpentine, ever! It is distilled from wood and is too heavy, thick, and harsh for model work. In some cases it never dries!

you need a solvent to remove excess of wash.

Stick to Mineral Spirits, also called White Spirit. You can use it for enamel washes and oils.
