I have been wanting to do a 1/35 train with a rail gun and was wondering if they where ever used together and what else could I add to that BR-56 Locomotive and be some what accurate.Like a railroad flatbed with a tank or truck on the bed.Basically I am trying to find out is can I mix and match any railroad item with the Locomotive and it would look like it was used in the WWII war some where.
I am looking to put something nice above my fireplace mantel that is about 4 or 5 feet long.An a nice dio would look great up there because a train dio is some what not that wide.
What type of dio would you do if you had the money and space and what combination would you do.
IDEAS WELCOME Please.

I would love an try to complete a train campaign with use but I don't know if the time allowed for something that big would be an issue because I have a disability that attacks my nervous system an has me shack an its hard to put stuff together fast as before the accident. But I do have my good days where I can still model . Thank god or I go crazy.I have been modeling since I was 7 when army models are those cheap plastic stuff kids play with now.You know that cheap no resin or pe stuff in kits now a days when it was revell an tamiya an model master model tester.linfenburg.etc.

What loco are you using? In your blurb you say a Br-56, do you mean Br-52? Is this the Trumpeter kit in 1/35 scale? The Br-52 was basically a cheaper Br-50 Loco. The Br-86 was a short hale more of a passenger train type and light frat. The Br-52 was a heavy, long haler. The Br-52 can be set up to hale just about anything. Armor and / or Goods stuff. Latter in the war there was plans the put a armored skin on the Br-52, but I don’t know if that happened. I’ve seen drawing but no pictures.
