Nice weathering. I found that this kit had some serious seam issues. These were the entire front bow plate, which required a lot of filling and sanding while trying to retain the flat plate, the exhaust shroud and extention on the rear, and every edge where the top and bottom hull halves met. I spent a lot of time correcting these seams on my V-100.
It's refreshing to see the ARVN take on this vehicle. After all, they owned them before we borrowed some for testing, then adopted the V for our own (US Army) use as well.
I found the Squadron V-100 in Action book to be a great detail reference, and it permitted me to refine the decent basic kit into something I was looking to portray.
Good Job overall!

You guys need to stop building these things up so nicely or I'm going to end up with one sitting next to the workbench soon
Nice job and good choice going with the ARVN version!

That is one awesome build. I have some plans for a MP/airforce type thing with some M706 and gunmutts from pictures.
I have seen that build in a picture of ARVN armor. Same vehicle and a guy holding a M79. I just cannot remember were, very similar.
I am going to keep these pictures to use as a reference, great build.
I would change the way the m79 is being held and add a sling, having been an ex soldier it detracts from the greatness of the build itself. That's pretty much the only thing I can nitpick on. The figure is not in the class of the build. I hate to say anything negative since my work is not as good.
But I am talking as an ex soldier not a modeler.
Otherwise it's extremely impressive!!!!! Excellent in fact. I am downloading the pictures now and thank you for sharing it with us. I only do Vietnam models and am finishing a Hue battle dio.
