hey guys,
im doing a wash with oils on my building and ran out of mineral spirits. is it ok to use regular thinner or turpintine in its place? im not sure how it would effect the way it washes. btw, it is a ceramic building with an acrylic basecoat.

Well, i figured this out today. Mineral Spirits work a lot better than regular thinner.

Yes, mineral spirit works much better than regular paint thinner. Never use Turpentine for model work. Turpentine is distilled from wood and is too thick, unrefined, sticky, and harsh for our applications. In some cases it never dries and the model is ruined.
